Hello everybody!
With summertime almost here, many of us are looking forward to that much-needed summer vacation. You have been planning all winter for that fun getaway and actually found an affordable way to travel to the destination of your choice. But did you insure your trip? Many people overlook the importance of travel insurance. Are you prepared to lose all of your money if your trip is cancelled due to circumstances beyond your control? Do you know if your personal health insurance or medical coverage will follow you as you travel? Many health and medical insurance policies do not follow you if you travel outside of your coverage area! Imagine needing medical help, thinking you are covered, and then having your insurance claim denied and being stuck with an outrageous bill. It happens every day and it can happen to you. Traveler’s insurance plans include 24-hour “911″ travel emergency service for emergency medical assistance, last-minute or emergency travel and flight changes, lost luggage tracking, pre-trip travel advice and more. Explore your options to choose the coverage that best meets your travel needs.
For as little as $30, you can protect your travel investment. Whether you decide to purchase some affordable travel insurance or not, at least take a few minutes to check it out and weigh your options. Peace of mind is priceless. Make sure your mind is at peace. Have a great vacation!

Hello world!
I am so excited that springtime is here. That means summer is right around the corner and if you’re anything like me, you are looking forward to taking a summer vacation. There are some great travel deals out there (you can save up to 50% on last minute fares at Hotwire.com
) and I don’t even know where I’m going yet, but I know that I better start making vacation plans soon. The last thing I want is for there to be ‘no rental cars available’ at the airport. In the past, I had to take a taxicab 15 miles in order to rent a car because all of the cars at the airport locations were rented out. That was really inconvenient! But it was my fault for procrastinating.
One thing I won’t procrastinate on, no matter what, is getting travel insurance. There have been so many bankrupt airlines, cancelled flights, and lost luggage lately that travel insurance should be included in your trip budget anyway. And believe it or not, travel insurance is very affordable. Of course there are variables that affect the cost of your total insurance, but the average person will pay $14 - $40 which will cover them in the event of unforeseen trip related expenses such as:
- Trip cancellation, interruption, and delay
- Emergency medical treatment or evacuation
- Lost, stolen, or damaged baggage or personal effects
- Baggage delay.
My mom always told me that “peace of mind is priceless”, so I can’t complain about $30 or $40 bucks. I bet all those people I saw on the news crying at the airport when their flights got cancelled wished they had travel insurance. Don’t take that risk yourself. Trust me.
