Our mission is simple: To save consumers money by helping them find low, affordable rates on travel, loans, and insurance. That’s it.
LowRateSearch.com, and Blog.LowRateSearch.com, were created out of necessity, and with the consumer in mind. In 2003 when LowRateSearch was born, there wasn’t a search and referral service (that I knew of) that offered free travel, insurance, and loan quotes in the same place. So I began contacting travel, insurance, and loan companies in order to build a network to put consumers in touch with travel, insurance, and loan professionals. But I wanted to give consumers an edge.
There are reputable companies out there whose websites claim they offer ‘the lowest rates on the internet’ or the ‘best rates guaranteed’, so we decided to seek them out and post their links. Armed with the ‘lowest’ or ‘best rate’ guarantees, consumers have the right to make these companies fulfill those promises, and in that, they save money. It is also important to note that although there are companies that offer to pay us to list their links on our website or blog, if they do not offer competitively low or discounted rates, their offers are rejected. Our allegiance is to the consumer, not the dollar.
Over the years, our network has grown to include many reputable companies in the travel, insurance, and loan industries who compete for the business of our customers by offering the lowest rates they can. This corporate competition has resulted in “rate wars” which is a great thing for our customers. More customers than ever are saving money by getting low, affordable rates with our help.
These days, I’m emailed constantly by companies in our network who want to offer our customers the opportunity to “save money over the other guy” by offering limited-time-offers, specials, and promotions on their travel, insurance, and loan products. These sales, specials, and promotions may not be public knowledge, but they should be! Hence, the birth of Blog.LowRateSearch.com. Now I can post as much money saving information out there as possible.
